Chair of the Financial Expert Group of the European Banking Federation

Martin Vogt, LL.M., is in Banking since 1979 and a registered Lawyer since 1991. He has managed sanctions compliance in the largest German banks globally since 2007, and since 2012 at Deutsche Bank, where he was Global Head of Sanctions until end of 2022. Since then, he is the Senior Specialist Advisor of Deutsche Bank.

He has been the Chair of the Financial Sanctions Expert Group of the European Banking Federation for the past four years.

Martin has participated in many training and speaking engagements and contributes to a leading German law commentary on sanctions law.
