Previously head of AML/KYC in AXA Investment Managers, Valeriia Pianykh joined AXA Group as Head of Sanctions in July 2023. In AXA Group, Valeriia is responsible to continue the reinforcement of AXA Group Sanction Program in the current ever-changing geopolitical environment.

Prior to her role at AXA IM, Valeriia worked for 15 years in BNP Paribas where she started her career by conducting audit assignments in Inspection Générale where she specialized eventually in compliance topics. She, then joined BNP Paribas domestic markets compliance teams as Head of KYC.
